Vintage Polish Posters | Jazz Jamboree 98 | Wojciech Korkuc

The annual Jazz Jamboree Festival in Warsaw is one of the oldest jazz festivals in Europe. The first edition took place in Warsaw in 1958. The poster artist Wojciech Korkuć designs posters and other illustrations. He was born in 1967 in Mińsk and is a graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, with a diploma in Poster Design Studio under professor Mieczysław Wasilewski. In 1996, he founded KOREKSTUDIO. He had several individual exhibitions and participated in several dozen collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad. His works, published in domestic and foreign publications, have been awarded many times, including in the European Design Annual, Print magazine and the American Creativity competition. Passionate about and propagator of poster art through the City Poster company. Winner of many awards and distinctions.
