Italian Polish Film Posters | The Gun | Claudia Cardinale

This 1978 film by Pasquale Squitieri features a commanding central performance from Stefano Satta Flores. He plays a middle-aged engineer who, getting increasingly worried about the rising crime rate in his surroundings, follows the advice and example of his drinking buddies to arm himself with a gun. Things so south from there. Squitieri does introduce some humor among the tragic situations depicted. And the groovy music score is one definite element that stands out from the mix. Incredible poster art by Danka (Danuta Baginska-Andrejew), born in Poland in 1951.
