Jan Lenica (1928–2001) was a renowned Polish graphic artist, poster designer, and animator, known for his distinctive surrealist style. A pioneer of the Polish School of Posters, he combined bold visual metaphors with social and political commentary. Lenica gained international acclaim for his animated films and theatrical posters. He later taught and worked in France and Germany, influencing generations of graphic artists.
