Every year in Poland, they celebrate the music of composer Karol Szymanowski with the festival “Dni Muzyki Szymanowskiego”, or “Szymanowski Music Days”. This mint-condition poster from 1979 by artist Adam Mlodzianowski (1917-1985) evokes an image of the biblical, Middle Eastern or folk traditions found in Szymanowski´s work. The artist Adam Mlodzianowski was an early member of the “Polish School of Posters” and a contemporary of Jan Lenica, Franciszek Starowieyski and Waldemar Swierzy.
