Provincial Actors<\/b><\/i> is a 1979 Polish drama film directed by Agnieszka Holland in her feature-length directorial debut. This film is set in a small town near Warsaw, to which a young and coming director comes to produce a classic play with a modern vein. Everyone in the production gets his usual stereotypical role, but the aging idol of the ensemble senses opportunity to give the performance of his life. For young director everything is already set. The leading man, however, is not giving up and is trying to restore the role according to his view. His wife listens to his fears, complaints and frustrations, while resigning herself to a fading career in a puppet theatre. The poster artist Andrzej Pagowski<\/b> was born in Warsaw, Poland, in 1953 and is an artist specializing in graphic design and poster art. <\/span>P\u0105gowski graduated from The State University of Fine Arts in Poznan in 1978 and began to design posters, which has since become his main interest. In addition to posters, he designs theatrical settings, prints and catalogs. One of the younger artists of Polish School of Posters, in 1990 he created his own graphic studio, STUDIO P, which developed into an advertising agency in 1993 and continues in operation today. In 1992, he became art director of the Polish edition of <\/span>Playboy<\/span><\/i> magazine.<\/span>.<\/span> His work is characterized by a \u201cflick of the wrist\u201d style, including spontaneous, handwritten details and typography. <\/span>His art can be found in many European museums as well as the <\/span>Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)<\/span><\/i> in New York.
