In Greek mythology, Antigone<\/b> is a Theban princess and a character in several ancient Greek tragedies. She is the daughter of\u00a0 Oedipus. The meaning of the name is “worthy of one’s parents” or “in place of one’s parents”. She appears in the three 5th century BC tragic plays written by Sophocles, known as the three Theban plays, and she is the protagonist of the eponymous tragedy Antigone. <\/em>Poster artist Andrzej Pagowski<\/b> was born in Warsaw, Poland, in 1953 and is an artist specializing in graphic design and poster art. <\/span>P\u0105gowski graduated from The State University of Fine Arts in Poznan in 1978 and began to design posters, which has since become his main interest. In addition to posters, he designs theatrical settings, prints and catalogs. One of the younger of the Third Generation of artists of Polish School of Posters, in 1990 he created his own graphic studio, STUDIO P, which developed into an advertising agency in 1993 and continues in operation today. In 1992, he became art director of the Polish edition of <\/span>Playboy<\/span><\/i> magazine.<\/span>.<\/span>His art can be found in many European museums as well as the <\/span>Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)<\/span><\/i> in New York.
