It is considered one of the most important works of\u00a0<a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"Modernist literature\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Modernist_literature\">modernist literature<\/a><sup id=\"cite_ref-3\" class=\"reference\"><\/sup> and has been called &#8220;a demonstration and summation of the entire movement.&#8221; According to the writer\u00a0<a title=\"Declan Kiberd\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Declan_Kiberd\">Declan Kiberd<\/a>, &#8220;before Joyce, no writer of fiction had so foregrounded the process of thinking.&#8221; The play &#8220;<strong>Bloomusalem<\/strong>&#8221; produced in Poland in the 1970\u00b4s was based on Joyce\u00b4s &#8220;<strong>Ulysses&#8221;. <\/strong>The designer of this stunning poster, <strong>Roman Cieslewicz<\/strong> (1930\u20131996) was a Polish graphic artist and photographer who studied at Krakow Academy of Fine Arts from 1949 to 1955. In 1963, he moved to France and became a citizen there in 1971. He worked as art director of Vogue and Elle magazines, and taught at the Ecole Superieure d\u00b4Arts Graphiques in Paris. Cieslewicz was a founder of the famous &#8220;Polish School of Posters&#8221;. He had over 100 solo exhibitions of prints, photomontage works, posters and photographs in many countries.
