Born in 1951, the poster artist Roman Kalarus<\/strong> is a celebrated Polish artist known for his exceptional contributions to the world of poster art. Born with a creative spark, Kalarus embarked on his artistic journey with a passion for visual expression. He teaches at the Poster Design Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, Poland. His works are featured in important poster and graphic art shows in Poland and abroad. Kalarus has participated in numerous exhibitions, seminars and workshops, including Grafist \u201899, Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Istanbul; Vital Center for Design Studies, Tel Aviv,\u00a0 2000; Universidad Diego Portales and Universidad Vi\u00f1a del Mar, Chile, 2005; and University of Indiana, USA. He is co-author and co-creator (together with Joanna Piech) of the paintings and stained glass windows in Blessed Karolina K\u00f3zk\u00f3wna church in Tychy and Our Lady Mother of the Church church in Katowice. Kalarus is the recipient of numerous awards and distinctions.
