The Bloodstained Butterfly<\/b><\/i> is a 1971\u00a0giallo<\/a><\/i> (crime and mystery) film directed by Duccio Tessari<\/a>. It starred\u00a0Helmut Berger<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Ida Galli<\/a>. AllMovie<\/a> gave the film a positive review, writing “this beautifully assembled giallo is among the best of its time” and that it features a “genuinely intelligent script, a rarity in a subgenre generally known for flamboyant visuals at the expense of narrative cohesion”. The poster artist Franciszek Starowieyski<\/strong>\u00a0(1930-2009) studied at the\u00a0Academy of Fine Arts<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0Krak\u00f3w<\/a>\u00a0and Warsaw in the 1950\u00b4s. He specialized in poster, drawing, painting, stage designing, and book illustration. Starowieyski could be called the Father of the Communist-era Polish poster era. He was a member of\u00a0Alliance Graphique International (AGI)<\/a>. Throughout his career his style deviated from the socialist realism that was prevalent during the start of his career and the popular, brightly colored\u00a0Cyrk<\/a>\u00a0posters (he did create one Cyrk poster\u00a0Homage to Picasso<\/em>\u00a0in 1966).
