The great Polish artist Roman Cieslewicz<\/strong> created this original masterpiece poster in 1982 for the Pompidou Center museum in Paris, France. It translates to “The Most Beautidul Day”.\u00a0 Roman Cieslewicz<\/strong> was one of the most influential poster artists of the 20th century. Employed at WAG, a Polish state graphics agency, after exposure to the West he was hired by Elle<\/em> as an art director, and then gained employment at an ad agency, MAFIA<\/em>, 1969-72. In his work he has used a number of techniques, notably collage and typography, to achieve startling results.
